Hoarding

When performing refurbishment works in occupied buildings, the work areas more often than not require fire resistant separation from those parts of the building which are continuing in operation. The SUPALUX® temporary hoarding system is designed to offer a competitive method of proving the requisite compartmentation together with superior fire resistance. The SUPALUX® also provides excellent impact resistance and is tolerant of water exposure.

120 minute fire rated SUPALUX® temporary hoarding system

 
1) 40mm x 40mm x 0.6mm thick galvanised steel angle.
2) 38mm x 50mm x 38mm x 0.6mm thick galvanised steel channel.
3) 9mm thick SUPALUX® board.
4) Door closer.
 
5) Door lock NOTE: This construction is suitable for providing a fire performance in accordance with the criteria of BS 476: Part 22.
6) 25mm x 60mm x 25mm x 1.0mm thick galvanised steel Z-channel.
7) 3 nos. 75mm x 75mm door hinges.
8) Column.
